Hi! I’m Ellesting Zhu, a 3D and VFX student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, graduating in 2027. I love watching anime and playing video games! Some of my all-time favorites include the NieR series, Baldur’s Gate 3, The Last of Us, the Final Fantasy series, Balatro, Slay the Spire, Dysco Elysium, Death Stranding, so on. I also love skiing, and one of my current goals is to go skiing in Japan ⛷️

I’m still exploring where I fit best in the film or game pipeline since I genuinely enjoy so many parts of it, from concept art and modeling to shading, rigging, lighting, animation, fx, and compositing, etc. I take pride in my perseverance and creativity when facing challenges, and I love the process of pushing through obstacles to bring ideas to life.
